Post #12- Day one of recording/ Rough Cut 1

Hello! Welcome back to blog post 12. Today I am going to be talking about the first day of filming, and rough cut 1. Enjoy.

Yesterday was our First day of filming as a group. It was a long afternoon. The weather was really nice. It was sunny but gloomy at the same time. So not to hot! We all agreed to arrive at 4:30, although some of us did arrive late. By 5 we were all at baker park, and we were ready to film. A week prior do this day the others in my group went tot baker park to locate the spots they think were best for our film. Unfortunately I couldn't make it that day. Below you will see pictures around the park, to help you get an idea. After everyone arrived on our first group film day we started off by walking to our first location for our first clip. Emily brought a light ring, to help get more of those bright shots. We had to redo many of the recordings over and over again, either someone messed up, laughed, or got out of character. It was frustrating to get some of the clips but we achieved. Although we did not got to finish the whole film, we got round 30 seconds worth of film. It got dark fast, so we ended there for the day.

Later that week our first rough cut was due. In class we watched everyone films, including my group and we got to give feedback and receive feedback. Everyone film has a different genre and it was really interesting to see what everyone came up with. When it was my group turn to receive feedback, what we received is in the image below. As long with the first cut film, let  me know what you think!
