Post #13 Day two of filming/ Rough cut 2

 Welcome back! Today I am writing about my group and I second day of filming, and how our rough cut 2 is coming along.

As you may have read from my last post, I have received feedback about my group and I film, and we decided to reflect off it and continue fixing what our classmates suggested. Today was day two of filming, last Wednesday was our first day of filming, we reviewed the videos Friday, and today is Wednesday again.  We  have a group chat where everyone in my group is included, this is where we text each other about ideas, brainstorm, and meet times .For example today we decided to all go to our setting (Baker Park) at 4:30. I was able to get there in perfect timing, as well as Emily. Obed and Kevin were running a bit late but it was all good. By 4:45 we were all at the park and we were ready to continue recording! This is where I noticed something strange. Emily was wearing a different shirt! This was a problem. Since our first time filming she was wearing a pink shirt, all the clips showed her wearing a pink shirt. Since now she wearing black, it is obvious it a different day and it will not make the film look good. This started a small argument, but it got settled. We all agreed to refilm. As we finished  re filming everything from last time, we also went ahead and got some more clips in since our first rough cut was so short. We finished filming around half the film at 6pm. This is where we called it for the day since it was already getting dark, but before leaving we enjoyed some wing stop for our hard work. It was delicious ! 

The following day we spent our class block editing the film, Kevin is the editor but we all try to help and pitch in when we can. We were rewatching our clips to try to improve them at least a bit before we presented our rough cut 2 to the class. A couple days after  we filmed was the day we watched all the films in class. Our teacher said it was better then the first cut, but it still had a lot of work to do. We will keep improving, and I can't wait for you guys to see the final product! Below is rough cut 2.

 Welcome back, It's finally time to gather groups and plan out our 2 minute film to produce as the year goes on for our end of year assignment. My group consists of members Emily Trejo, Obed Jaime , Kevin Hipolito, and myself, Kimberly Duron. I have worked with all of them in the past, and we have continued to improve in each film we make.   After months of working on this grand scheme, K.E.K.O. Productions presents to you, The Last Text!   https://youtu.be/HMbuZf74qD1w?si=5NtDWKr1q15seeGM We all are very excited for you to watch our project, but we are also very relieved to have completed this film. It was a long process, but we made a bunch of memories and had a great time! We did have multiple ups and downs along the process but we worked together as a team and made the best with what we had. Throughout the production process, our , editing, camera angles, details, and technical issues improved greatly. I was with our end results and I can speak for my group as well that we are all happy with the end product. If we could look back and change something throughout this process would be how we organized everything, and time management.
