Post #14- Day 3/4 of recording/ Rough cut 3

Hello, welcome back! 

After two more days of filming, our rough cut 3 is almost ready. I will try to keep this short, but we filmed for another two days. I was not able to attend the second day due to a family emergency but my group was able to still make it work. Emily filled in for some of my parts in the film. She a life saver.  While there were many ideas and plans as to how we were going to successfully end the film, the team finally decided: all of the characters expect myself (Kimberly) were going to be murdered by the stalker, while I am on my phone after exiting the bathroom, something on the floor catches my eye. Emily's cellphone. As I go and pick it up, I go ahead and unlock it as I notice a unknown number has sent 3 attachments. Each image is a picture of each of my best friends being murdered. In shock I look up, and I scream. The stalker is Infront of me! Once you watch the opening scene, you will get more of the bigger picture. After the two days of filming, we sent all our clips to Kevin since in order to achieve all the clips we had to use different cellphones. This is where Kevin took in his editing skills and started adding sound effects,  word texts, etc. I was able to help him out by sending a few sounds that I think would fit specific clips so he can have a little less on his plate. We had him as editor since he has experience, unlike the others. 

That following Friday it was time to present our rough cut 3!  I was a little nervous considering the fact that not all parts were done since I was absent one of the filming days. We made sure to notify our teacher so that she does not get confused. After our film got presented on the big screen upon us, claps started entering the room. Many of my classmates really liked the film. They still gave us some feedback which included, less noise in the beginning, fix of audio, less dim lighting at the end, etc. This is helpful because we get to look at our film in different perspectives. Ms. hall (my teacher) ended up giving us a 10/10. We were thrilled. We still had one more day of filming planned to refilm my parts, and a couple others. I can't wait to see how our final cut is going to look like, since that is due after spring break. Below is rough cut 3!

 Welcome back, It's finally time to gather groups and plan out our 2 minute film to produce as the year goes on for our end of year assignment. My group consists of members Emily Trejo, Obed Jaime , Kevin Hipolito, and myself, Kimberly Duron. I have worked with all of them in the past, and we have continued to improve in each film we make. I am thrilled to be able to work with them in this upcoming project, and I can't wait to see what we are capable of producing . It was a long process, but we made a bunch of memories and had a great time! We did have multiple ups and downs along the process but we worked together as a team and made the best with what we had. Throughout the production process, our , editing, camera angles, details, and technical issues improved greatly. I was with our end results and I can speak for my group as well that we are all happy with the end product. If we could look back and change something throughout this process would be how we organized everything, and time management.
