  Hello! Before we show you guys our final film in today blog post I am going to talk about the equipment used in order to produce our film . Since we had no access to Hollywood equipment, such as there advanced cameras, and other resources we had to use with what we had. We used our cellphones for our camera shots, this includes a iPhone 13, iPhone 15 plus, and iPhone 15 pro. We didn't just press record on our phones, we changed the settings to portrait mode to add a bit more detail into the shots.   Although using an iPhone as our camera is very easy, it also has it cons. It not always the best quality, lack of sound, and sometimes turns out blurry. Regardless, we made the best with what we had. We also used a ring light to add a more brighter look in some shots. The ring light was Emily's and we are glad she had one. There is not many equipment used  into producing this film, but that does not mean we let it stop us! 

Welcome back! Today we take a break from editing, filming, and the production process. For classwork today,  our teacher Ms. Hall has assigned two articles about distribution.  After reading both articles, I went back and looked at the main purpose of these articles. From what I read, movies usually take a certain path to make it to it's local theaters.   Film distribution is key to earning revenue from a movie.  The distribution process ensures that the film reaches its intended audience and generates revenue through various channels  For a real holly wood  movie the process is much longer, and broader.  Welcome back!  Today we are going to take a break from recording and rough cuts. My media studies teacher Ms. Hall asked us a question today, If you had millions of dollars and major studio backing to make your movie a reality, who would your dream team be for a director and actors/actresses? My mind instantly imagined many things. Would I want a horror movie, or maybe a comedy movie, or what about a Action filmed movie? There are so many genres, and types of movies that can be produced. It all about the imagination. In this blog post I am going to talk about my dream movie. My dream movie would revolve around a genre similar to the popular movie "Mean Girls." I love that movie, and making a similar/ updated one will be a dream! My movie would consist of a group of "popular" girl who are all about fashion, makeup, and gossip. Hello, welcome back!  After two more days of filming, our rough cut 3 is almost ready. I will try to keep this short, but we filmed for another two days. I was not able to attend the second day due to a family emergency but my group was able to still make it work. Emily filled in for some of my parts in the film. She a life saver.  While there were many ideas and plans as to how we were going to successfully end the film, the team finally decided: all of the characters expect myself (Kimberly) were going to be murdered by the stalker, while I am on my phone after exiting the bathroom, something on the floor catches my eye. Emily's cellphone. As I go and pick it up, I go ahead and unlock it as I notice a unknown number has sent 3 attachments. Each image is a picture of each of my best friends being murdered.  Welcome back! Today I am writing about my group and I second day of filming, and how our rough cut 2 is coming along. As you may have read from my last post, I have received feedback about my group and I film, and we decided to reflect off it and continue fixing what our classmates suggested. Today was day two of filming, last Wednesday was our first day of filming, we reviewed the videos Friday, and today is Wednesday again.  We  have a group chat where everyone in my group is included, this is where we text each other about ideas, brainstorm, and meet times .For example today we decided to all go to our setting (Baker Park) at 4:30. I was able to get there in perfect timing, as well as Emily. Obed and Kevin were running a bit late but it was all good. By 4:45 we were all at the park and we were ready to continue recording!
